Greenville Aerial Series

In the Spring of 2003 Ehlenberger was selected by the George Ohr Museum in Biloxi, MS to participate in an invitational exhibition sponsored by the museum in collaboration with the Arts Council of Greenville, MS. The theme of the exhibition was to have the selected artists interpret the rich history and culture of the Delta Region of Greenville within the context of the artist's venue.

After spending two days exploring the region, Ehlenberger found himself enamoured with the open terrain of the Delta Region including the expanses of farmland nestled amongst undeveloped natural forests and bayous. This series represents his interpretation of the land as seen from above, in an aerial perspective.
