Por do Sol, portuguese for "of the sun," consists of shapes suggestive of Mayan architecture and embodies a celebration of the sun as the source of all life.

 Tasogare

"Tasogare", exhibited in this virtual neon art gallery exhibition of neon sculpture and neon art installations
32" x 32" x 10"
aluminum, plexiglas, neon

Tasogare is a japanese term meaning "pinwheel." The red disc is a gesture toward the influence that Japanese culture and aesthetics have had on the artist. The shape and general "movement" of this work is a symbolic rendition of fireworks, a favorite love of the artist.
