This
early group of wall sculptures by Ehlenberger incorporate cast glass and
aluminum in a series of abstract works that are at once moody and inviting.
Complex shapes and shadows interact to present his interpretations of
such concepts as "Frozen Fog" and "Drinking Sake, Watching
the Moon and Stars." Like Zen koans, these sculptures allow for contemplation,
engaging the viewer in spiritual dialogue.
