single base, oval single base, round 3x base, oval Each beautiful in its own right, these bases are made of hand-wrought oak or mahogany by New Orleans based artist William Jordan. The bases are designed to hold 1-3 pyrex housings for the wireless neon tubes and allow for display of single or multiple components including "Stalaglites," "Venusian Clamora" and "Venusian Swamp Flowers," (see examples below). Each component is easily assembled without tools or the need for wiring (aside from plugging in the power cord!). This allows for ease in shipping as well as the ability to easily change the composition of the works.
